A playful take on the traditional European style hot dog. We have taken our sweet and juicy Gotzinger Honeywurst and topped it with ingredients more commonly used in Korean and Japanese cooking. This hotdog is a complete flavour bomb and will leave you wanting more.

  • Ingredients

    • Olive Oil – 1 tbsp.
    • Gotzinger Smallgoods Honeywurst Sausage – 1
    • Hotdog buns – 1
    • Avocado (Sliced) – ¼
    • Kimchi – 1.5 tbsp.
    • Kewpi Mayonnaise – drizzle
    • Spring onion (fine sliced) – 1
    • Black and white sesame seeds – to garnish

  • Instructions

    • Add olive oil to pan, put on low heat then cook the sausage for approx. 15 – 20 minutes until golden on the outside and hot on the inside.
    • Assemble hot dog by slicing down the middle of the bun then layering avocado, sausage, kimchi, a drizzle of mayonnaise and garnish with spring onion slices and sesame seeds.
    • If you prefer extra spicy, top with fine slices of fresh chili to give this hot dog an extra kick.
